MIL-STD-810H is the latest revision from the Department of Defense (DoD) and is the quintessential document for everything related to environmental test, as it is referenced in the majority of all DoD contractual requirements. Instructor

David Sgro

Dave Sgro is the lead qualification test engineer for FLIR’s Surveillance Division in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to working at FLIR, he worked at Raytheon’s environmental test laboratory where he lead extensive high visibility qualification and test programs including field test and data collection around the country. Dave holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. He has held multiple positions in IEST including as a board member, and served as President of the IEST Boston Chapter. Currently, Dave is the IEST Technical Vice President for the Environmental Test division of the organization. He is also the Working Group Chair for Shock and Vibration Test Fixture Design. Over the years, Dave has presented multiple papers at IEST and at internal Raytheon Symposiums in the field of Environmental Test.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Transfers: Registrations are transferable to another person for the same event. A $35 transfer fee applies. Transfer of a member registration to a nonmember registration will be charged the difference in fees. 

Cancellations: Cancellation requests received 60 days or more prior to the start of the event will receive a full refund LESS a $75 administration fee. Cancellation requests received 30-59 days prior to the start of the event will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellation requests received less than 30 days prior to the start of the event. IEST reserves the right to cancel course(s), in which case registrants will receive a refund of the fee. IEST is not responsible for any refund or remuneration for hotel, transportation, additional registration fees, tours, or other expenses related to attendance beyond the registration fee refund.
