MIL-STD-810 Expertise = IEST

The Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST) is the preeminent, non-profit association for Environmental Test professionals like you.

Since the launch of MIL-STD-810 in the 1950s, IEST experts have played a crucial role in every subsequent review, providing guidance for revisions to a document that is the standard for military testing providers. We are the Administrator for WG-DTE043: MIL-STD-810G, the Working Group that updates this constantly evolving standard.

Learning Center

Advance your professional development by enrolling in an IEST Continuing Education Program. Our education programs are taught by the people who write the standards and practices. Our conferences are the places where many of the practices used in test labs throughout the world are written. If you're looking for the most up-to-date information and expert instruction on the issues you care about, there's no need to look anywhere else.

Standards Development

New Recommended Practices and new revisions of Recommended Practices are being written right now. Come and observe the meetings where this is happening, and become a member of a Working Group in your area of expertise. We are always looking for good technical input on these RPs.
