Fundamentals of Multi-Shaker and Multi-Axis Dynamic Testing

Developments in improved dynamic testing have pointed out the need for testing in multiple axes and on larger structures and assemblies. This class is designed for experienced dynamics managers and engineers and covers the fundamentals for designing and conducting a multi shaker/multis axis test.  Highlights include:

1.  Identifying design risks associated with structures with complex mode vulnerabilities

2.  Developing a complex dynamic mode test plan

3.  Multi shaker vs. multi axis

4.   Selecting  or constructing multi-shaker test equipment

5.  Understanding matrix dynamics and coherence

6.  Building a multi-shaker test lab

7.  Conducting a multi-shaker/multi-axis test
