Developing a Life Cycle Environmental Profile (LCEP)
This course is available as custom location training at your facility.
This 1-day course, designed for senior test engineers and program managers, is designed to introduce the process of developing the Life Cycle Environmental Profile (LCEP). The LCEP is a critical part of developing an environmental test program for hardware and systems. All hardware will withstand a unique set of damaging environments that will challenge the performance and reliability of the hardware. The LCEP offers a systematic approach to identifying and quantifying the damage potential of those environments. The LCEP process also helps turn the damaging environments into an environmental test plan. Students will:
- Learn the damaging environments for various platforms
- Explore platform environmental "microenvironments"
- Learn how to quantify and evaluate damage potential.
- Learn how to turn environments into test procedures and plans
- Learn to sequence test events to reduce environmental damage risk.
- Learn how to handle last minute requirement changes
This course is interactive and will include exercises. exercise booklets, and course notes
