This course will review some risk assessment essentials and pitfalls. The methods that
will be covered in this course include:

  • HACCP
  • FMEA
  • Environmental Assessment
  • Fishbone and Fault Tree

Goals of the Course

  • Become familiar with the underlying concepts used in risk analysis
  • Apply the risk assessment methods to cleanrooms and controlled environments
  • Recognize that there are many existing tools that can be used
  • Understand that there is no “right or wrong” answer - only a requirement for logic and justification
