Introduction to Environmental Testing

Are you an engineer, technician, or manager new to the goals and process of environmental testing? If yes, then you need to take this course. The course will provide you with an introduction to various aspects of environmental testing and will help you begin to understand your role in the process. You will gain reference information for Dynamic, Climatic and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) testing which feeds into more in-depth courses geared toward practitioners, such as MIL-STD-810, Introduction to Dynamics certificate, and HALT/HASS.

Practical Introduction to Vibration and Shock Testing

This course provides a practical introduction to vibration and shock testing. While basic theory is reviewed for enhancement of conceptual understanding, focus is on leading the practicing engineer or technician to clearly grasp of the types of vibration and shock that can be imparted to a product, sources of vibration and shock requirements, available test equipment, and correct interpretation of data.

Designing Effective Vibration and Shock Fixtures

This overview of parameters for designing effective vibration and shock fixtures is intended to familiarize engineers and managers with the concerns and requirements that must be addressed to meet their specifications. Upon completion, you will have an understanding of how to approach fixture design.
