All of us at IEST were saddened by the death January 7 of Linda Fischer, who served on the staff as Technical Editor for nearly four years. Linda worked closely with many IEST members on Recommended Practices and with Journal of the IEST authors and Editorial Board members on technical papers. She was often praised for her collaborative spirit and her outstanding editing skills. We will miss her dedication, her humor, her upbeat outlook, and her friendship.
