A Tester's Guide to RTCA DO-160

This course is available as a custom training option at your facility.

With the many recent commercial aircraft issues that have made the news, it is clear that testing still holds a crucial role in aircraft safety and reliability. General test descriptions of RTCA DO-160: Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment will be discussed along with a comparison to MIL-STD-810 testing and which test methods are likely to be most valuable. Climatics and dynamics testing will also be highlighted with a mention of electrical testing, which can also be run.

“Chris Peterson did an excellent job with the class. She did so well at figuring out what we needed and geared the class material accordingly. Her deep understanding of the material was extremely helpful in reaching our future goals. I can’t say enough good things about Chris and the class. Thanks again!”
