Edward A. Szymkowiak Award
Albert Lee, for his continuing contributions to improve acoustic and aerospace testing methods, service as Chair of IEST WG-DTE040 (High Intensity Acoustics), and annual support of the ESTECH conference with acoustics and aerospace test presentations.
Willis J. Whitfield Award
Hal Amick, for his invaluable and frequently cited published contributions as a world-renowned authority in the field of vibration isolation in nanotechnology facilities.
Reliability Test and Evaluation Award
Dustin Aldridge, for his extensive and invaluable contribution to the first International Standard for Accelerated Testing, IEC 62506.
Al Lieberman Mentoring Award
William H. (Skip) Connon, III, for the unselfish sharing of his time and knowledge, and for his many years of graciously and skillfully mentoring engineers and technicians within the dynamic test arena. He is a leader in the Army, in IEST, and in the international test community.
Stanley Poynor, for his effort in applying his extensive experience to develop a nine-week curriculum providing a broad introductory education in the Environmental Engineering field for over 25 enigneers in a formal class setting, and for his ongoing informal mentoring of colleagues within and beyond his discipline.
David Swinehart, for his ever-presence and demonstrated ability to connect with and share his vast knowledge and experience with new members as well as peers.
Exceptional Woman Contributor Award
Roberta Burrows, IEST Executive Director, for her unwavering efforts to support IEST and grow the Institute into a truly member-oriented organization.
President’s Award
Diana Granitto, IEST Director of Communications and Programs, in recognition for all that she does, mostly unseen and with good cheer, for elevating the quality and consistency of our publications to levels beyond our expectations.
James R. Mildon Award
Jan Eudy, for consistency in the promotion of Contamination Control topics through her "Ask Jan" column in cleanroom trade magazine.
Dr. Irwin Vigness Memorial Award
William Barber and
Jeff Dallman, for their dedication in developing NATO Allied Ammunition Safety and Suitability for Service Assessment Testing for Shoulder Launched Munitions. Their work in the joint (US Tri-Service and Multi-National) committee was a testament to their professionalism and a service to their country.
